    Supermiguel,

I get the Cisco Log In screen if I click on that link. Are you using a Cisco Log In User Name and Password associated with your work?

Don't you need a service support agreement to download most/all of those images?

Yes you do! i'd be careful downloading IOS's for personal use my friend! unless you bought the router with a legitimate service contract, if so then it depends what you want to do at home with it. Each of the versions have differnet capabilities, eg support for different WIC's etc. If your just starting out you should be fine with an IP base image.

I assume that Supermiguel does have some sort of CCO access that allows file downloads to be able to see that page.

Yup. CCO doesn't restrict you to only downloads for your specific service contracts but there is a click through agreement where you acknowledge that Cisco may charge you or terminate your access if you do.

Assuming you do have some sort of legitimate access to 1841 IOS releases then 12.4.19b if you want it to be stable (in theory) or 12.4.15T5 if you want to get all the latest/greatest features. As to which specific feature set, thats down to what license you've purchased from Cisco. There is a diagram on the Cisco site which shows which feature sets have what and which are sub/super sets of what.

Grab the latest version of the IP Base image because that should give you enough options to run whatever it is that you need for a home setup. If you are going to be running a certain feature/protocol on your router that is not part of the IP Base IOS (like DMVPN for example), then use the feature navigator to find those specific ones you need and it will tell you which IOS to use.

    Link for feature navigator -
    http://tools.cisco.com/ITDIT/CFN/

CLick on Search by Feature and it will list them all... click on what you are seeking and it should show you a IOS list that meet that requirement.

    Good luck!
