The latest PMBOK - just as exhilarating as previous editions.

Oh and tonight I read "Oh the Thinks You Can Think", "Curious George Goes Camping" and "Angela's Airplane".

I used to do a lot of pleasure reading. It has been a while since I have. The book I have currently ordered (I should recieve it in the next couple of days) is the Microsoft Press book for the 70-620 Vista Configuration certification. I keep my library card busy but normally I just keep the books long enough to accrue late chanrges and then turn them in later unread.

If you want to save yourself the hassle of fetching the books and returning them but still keeping the 'pleasure' of the late charges I would gladly collect the Late Fees from you. icon_lol.gif

As for what I am reading I havent read for pleasure for a while now, all seems to be IT related material at present.

Think the last thing I read for pleasure was Art of Deception.

I'm currently reading through the Bible again with my wife (we finished it for the first time together a month or so ago) and while I have been pretty much just reading study books lately two books I have queued up are The Last Light of the Sun by Guy Gavriel Kay and also Escape to God by Jim Hohnberger. I usually like to have a few things going at once so that I can switch back and forth. We'll probably be hitting the library again soon as well so who knows what gems we'll delve out of there. My wife is a voracious reader.

That's a great book. I'm only a little ways into it, but it's been really interesting so far. I'd encourage everyone else to check it out.

For better or worse, most of my reading time is spent with IT-related materials. I'm currently taking a distance-learning introductory law class, which fulfills one of my undergrad requirements, and I'm also studying Japanese in order to fulfill my language requirement. Whenever I get any leisure time, I really don't feel like spending any more time in a book.

No time for reading for pleasure. If I have time to read for pleasure I have time to read for certs. Just like I don't play any video games. I just watch my girl friend play Super Mario Galaxy while I read and study for the CCNA.

Current book is Odom's ICND2 book.

So IT is really eating us up !!!

there's more in life than studying, setting up labs, troubleshooting...sometimes I just leave everything and watch movie or read something.

I used to be a very fast reader (pleasure reading as you called it)...but with certification and all this junk, it's really hard to do anything else in your life !

I miss pleasure reading soo much!! I've read nothing but Cisco and MS books for about the last 2 years. The last book I read for pleasure was DaVinci Code...
