Hi Guys,

little confused about protocols.

I know pop3 is used with outlook express from my isp eg its delivered to you.

Now if I tick the box that says leave a copy on the server does that use imap too?

Now in an exchange/domain enviroment. You can setup your email client at any PC and collect your email. So whats that using please?

Cheers guys.

No, it's still pop3, it's just telling the server not to delete the messages from your mailbox when you retrieve them using Outlook Express or whatever. IMAP is a separate protocol altogether.

    Exchange/AD uses MAPI.
