java+ Security

I am working In Security Profile and Managing the daily accounts for my Company as well as clients.I was always interested in Java as I did my SCJP.But bcaz of my security EXP. What should I go for and Is my development knowldge will help me anyway.Please help

What is your information security experience? A good first security certification is the CompTIA Security+. A very good mid-level technical security certification is the SSCP. There is no security-specific Sun Java cert (all the exams have security-related questions), but you could always go for the the SCJD too.
