Does single instance storage (SIS) applies on Exchange 2007 Journaling?

A mailbox is a mailbox. You journal to a mailbox. The storage architecture does not change just for a journal mailbox.

Thanks good to know, I created a Global Scope - Journaling, and got curious on what will the impact be on the hardware resources, well I don't think it will matter much on I/O and Disk Space, cause like you said its still based on SIS.

It does have an impact on disk i/o, regardless of single instance store.
