CUCM 6.0.1 User Logon

Hallo,

I have installed CUCM 6.0.1 on WMWare Server and have it configured corectly. I have registered Cisco IP Communicator and other IP Phones.

I have created "user" with all parameters and have associated this user with the IP Communicator, then I wend to

https://CUCM_IP_Address/ccmuser

and tried to login with the user I created in Admin panel.

I simply can not log in. Has anyone had similar problems or??

Well many potential problems but one of the main ones is how you are authenticating. Are you running LDAP synchronization?

No, I am not using LDAP. I just created the users myselfs in CUCM

When you created the user did you create him under "End User" or "Application User" ?

If End User then you have the right link and maybe its a permissions issue.

If Application User then try this link - https://CUCM_IP_Address/ccmadmin

I have created it under "End User". Tried with more then one user, but stil can not log on.

I am wandering what coould be wrong,

Hi,

I have solved this problem. The user has tu be added toa Group. So if you create a user then go to "Add to User Group" and then select "Standard CCM End Users". then associate the user with the phone and then go to
https://CCUM_IP_ADDRESS/ccmuser and then logon to the web page and configure speed dials, forward calls and ect.
