Onto ISCW! :)

Hey all,

Just got back from sitting BSCI - Passed with a 925 :D

Although I really need to work on my time management during exams.... This is the second time I've had less then 10 mins to complete the last 10-12 questions..... Got through it but have a feeling I might have lost alot of points due to rushing through the last few, especially as most of them were IS-IS....

I've identified my most weakest areas as IS-IS and Multicast, nothing that a few more labs and a nice little peruse of Doyle's Vol I and II bibles shouldn't resolve though.....

It's funny though I actually walked into the exam thinking I had IS-IS and Multicasting under control and that my BGP left alot to be desired..... How wrong I was....

Multicasting I didn't totally flunk... got 70% but boy was my IS-IS bad... 42%... Incredibly I got a surprising 80% on BGP..... Just another reminder to future BSCI sitters..... DON'T UNDERESTIMATE MULTICASTING OR IS-IS!!!!

Other than that I'm quite happy with how the exam went and now it's onto ISCW!!!! :)

Congratulations, that’s a pretty score, just about time when I started thinking that I have a good handle over Multicast. You can get multicasting through your head just by studying the material over and over. In comparison, IS-IS is different league, with all those acronyms thrown in, it’s a pain in rear, just when you think you have the concept clear they torture you by throwing a whole new term. I am glad IS-IS is not as vast as OSPF or BGP.

    Cheers guys

I wish dynamik..... After ISCW I still have ONT to take but I'm glad I have the core of CCNP done..... and with BCMSN\BSCI out of the way it's opened up the door for CCIP and CCDP as well.....

Everytime I think I can give myself a break I come up with a new challenge haha.... icon_lol.gif
