OSPF INV MASK RANGE
wmeier5
I need an explaination for this question.
What range of networks will be advertised by OSPF with this: network 192.168.0.0 0.0.15.255 area 200?
I know the mask / inverse mask relationship, but I can't grasp the "range" concept.
Thanks,
wm5

networks are 192.168.0.0/20 (ip range 192.168.0.1 - 192.168.15.254), including:
192.168.0.0/24
192.168.1.0/24
...
192.168.14.0/24
192.168.15.0/24

It depends if you have interfaces with addresses in that range. If you don't have any it won't advertise any networks...
