New Job for me

Well I got offered the position for the state working as an IT Technician 10 which is the highest in the technician title. The interview was hard, but when I left he said I did really well.. which kept my hopes up! I’m definitely excited about the job, but the pay was not as great as I thought but my new boss claims they give raises every 6 months for the first two years so will see. But I have heard the line “we give good raises” before. I start the Monday after next. Wish me luck!

    Thanks guys! The new job is a bit of a drive and with the raise I will probably make the same but the opportunity is much better.

    As for the interview it was called a target interview. Every response had to have a problem and solution. In other words everything had to be in a short story format, on how you felt, would you do that again, what would you differently, did it solve the problem? Wasn't use to it but my new boss said I nailed it and did very well! When I left the interview he said you did very well and the next day I had the call from him!
