Mainly for us Americans!
Give a man fire and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

Happy Fourth everyone!
Even the Canadians, Australians, and everyone else as well! -
JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,089 AdminIn Southern California, we celebrate the 4th by having backyard barbecues, watching community-sponsored fireworks shows, and keeping our house's roofs watered (don't you just love "fire season?"). At least the incidents of gun-fire has declined quite a bit over the past few years.

the noooge!
I enjoyed celebrating a friends birthday. WAAAY to monsoon-ish weather for fireworks at my locale so nothing there HOWEVER, I did watch baseball, and enjoy burgers and brats, and drank American beer . I was hoping to go to a ballgame (post game fireworks), but they were sold out.

nope! high winds, tons of lightning and thunder, and a torrential downpours for about 10-15 minutes with possibility of hail, then its gone....rinse, lather, repeat for the next night. Quite an awesome sight.
