Passed Security+

I scored 800/900. I will take it! I used ExamCram, CBT Nuggets, Syngress (good book, but I only read a few chapters), and of course I reviewed the technotes.

The reports of poorly worded questions were very true, but the actual objectives were not too difficult to grasp.

I have a BUNCH of materials already and a boot camp booked from October 13-19.

I did Security+ as a small ramp up for CISSP.

I'm glad to have passed! 800/900 sounds great until you realize passing is 764. They set the bar high for this one, huh? A pass is a pass.

I dont see many people getting higher than 850 (myself included) let alone 900, so dont worry. Besides anything higher than a 763 is going to get you the credential.
