I came across a question simmilar to this in the exams. Can anyone help me with it please

SRV1 has terminal services.
User from TchSupp department is added to Power Users Group and to Remote Desktop group on SRV1.
Being the administrator you find out the SRV1 is sometime unavailable. Going through the event viewer on SRV1 you see that SRV1 was restarted by user in the TchSupp department.
You have to ensure that user in TchSupp department can establish Terminal Services Sessions and can manage local user accounts on SRV1 without having to restart SRV1.
What do you do?? (Choose all that apply)

A. Remove TchSupp user account from the Remote desktop group
B. Modify the permission on RDP-TCP connection by using terminal Services configuration. Assign the power user group Deny Full Control Permission
c. Remove TchSupp user account from power User group
D. Add Power user group to the deny log on locally user right.
E. Remove Power user group from shut down the system user right.

Well I've found only one answer the is correct but it ask to choose all that apply. can anyone help me understand the question please.

Thanks heaps icon_sad.gif

Well, Power Users have the right to Shut Down the System.

So since the question is saying "Choose all that apply"...

I'd be inclined to go with A & E for my answers.

    Cingular thanks for your reply.

But if we choose A as and answer as well. Will that mean that TchSupp will not be able to establish terminal service session, right???
As the question states that TchSupp can establish Terminal Service Session and can manage local user accounts on SRV1.

I agree that E is correct but cannot figure out if any more answers are correct.

    Ah, whoops!

    Yes, C & E.

    My appologies!!

EDIT: This is why you need a good 10 hours sleep before an exam :P.

you have to be in the power user group to be able to create new user accounts, right???

AS the question says "u need to ensure that they can manage local user accounts on SRV1"

So does it mean that we have only one answer????

Please help me figure this out.

You are right, if you removed Power Users group membership, they will not be able to manage local accounts. So the answer is only E. The other options do not meet the requirements asked in the question.

It says "choose all that applies" so choose the only ones that applies, and yes E is the only right one. :D
