vmware on vista

Hi i want to set up vmware server on my vista laptop to some some labs etc
But i am having problems with the set up.
Have any of you done this before and if so are there any good instructions on how to do this anywhere?

What kind of problems have you been having, is it connectivity between VM's or to the internet?
As far as I know, Vista is not supported as a host for VMWare server. You might need the Workstation version of VMWare. But some people claim to have it working for them.

Yea, please be more specific. I had it on a Vista desktop before, but I've since removed it for the Workstation 6.5 beta (you can't have both
)
You might have better luck posting in the
virtualization forum
as well.

You could try with Microsoft Virtual PC 2007, support most version of vista (except home edition)
