I installed the Server 2003, Standard Edition on my PC and tried to install also AVG Antivirus program but it does not allow me. I tried another one with no luck. Can you recommend a

ClamAV is supposed to be good, but I've never tried it myself.

ClamAV seems to be the best bet, I use it on my linux servers and it works great. We are unfortunately forced to use McAfee on our 2003 Servers here.

There is also ClamWin which is based off of ClamAV.

yep another vote for clamwin, got it running on 3 test servers without issue or much of a footprint.

ClamAV works good on linux. I have used it before as well. Good product!
