Recovery Console

is there a chance of installing the Recovery Console on a PC if I do not have the installationn CD?

No you'll need a CD (or access to all the files if you copied them onto the local disk) to be able to install it. You could try downloading an evaluation copy of the software and running the installer based off that, it should work fine.

Maybe if you have the folder I386 copied to your local disk, in the command prompt you locate to the folder and place the command : winnt32.exe /cmdcons.

I copy the entire disk to the C:\, I hate getting asked for that dang CD because I never know where I put it.

Either way, if you have the i386 won't be a problem.
