I think it is kinda cool. I wish I was smart enough to do something like this (or had the funds for it). Maybe we all should band together and try to win the top prize j/k

Another space race? Google should fix its child daycare problems before it starts loosing out on the Silicon Valley hiring race.

And I bet the winning spacecraft entry will have been designed using the Spore Creature Creator.

I saw Spore last week at the Vancouver Art Gallery, they are doing an exhibit called KRAZY! The Delirious World of Anime + Comics + Video Games + Art and Will Wright is on of the co-curators, so they had Spore demos running on a bunch of displays. It looks really really cool and my wife wants a copy as soon as it's released, its right up her alley.
