Alternate to VMware?

Sorry if this seems like an odd question but...

Are there any alternatives to VMware Workstation? That program is $189 and I am looking to save some money.

if you are using MS products, virtualPC 2007 is FREE; which is my kinda price

Depends upon what you need it for. VMWare Server is free, VirtualBox is free, VirtualPC 2007 is free as well.
