Just got back from Cali, passed my JNCIP-M

Even though the drive was only 12 hrs one way it sure seemed like a seriously long drive. It was a fun trip, the wife and I went sight seeing for a day, went to San Fran, saw the Golden Gate bridge, visited Alkatraz, got lost in downtown SF. Then I did end up passing the JNCIP-M exam, which made the whole trip worth it.
It was alot of fun going out there but next time I'll probably just fly out to avoid the long hours of driving.

Congratulations on the pass! -
astorrs Member Posts: 3,139 ■■■■■■□□□□Congrats Aldur, that's awesome! I'm guessing with the new position at Qwest, Cisco certs are next (or are you going after the "E")?
Too bad they don't have a JUNOS to IOS translator (only the other way). -
cbigbrick Member Posts: 284Nice job! At least you did not get stuck in a snow storm going though Donner's Pass like I did in March of 2006. That was the pits!!And in conclusion your point was.....???
Don't get so upset...it's just ones and zeros. -

haha so very true dynamik, map quest says 18 hrs from here to Minneapolis, the drive to Cali will feel like nothing compared to that Im sure
Thats a good question astorrs, it is temping to go straight for the E but I'm thinking about doing some cisco certs since I'll be working with cisco equip at qwest. haha, indeed that would be nice if there was a junos to ios translator, could save me a bit of headaches in the future.
cbigbrick, I bet that was one hell of a snow storm through Donner's Pass, I remember going through it and thinking about how bad the snow might get in the winter time."Bribe is such an ugly word. I prefer extortion. The X makes it sound cool."

Thanks in advance.
