Is 70-285 a must after 70-284 or is Microsoft sucking money?

Hi,
If you pass 70-284 (I failed not long ago with 662 and 2nd attempt is coming up July 29th) do you really need to have the design exam 70-285 also? I've been reading posts both here and on other places that 70-284 and 70-285 are very "the same". I intend to learn more about exchange after 70-284 but it might be better to go for "70-236 Exchange Server 2007"?
I'd rather read a extra book about Exchange Server 2003 after passing 70-284 than spending a fortune on a certification not really needed. It would be different if my employer paid all but I'm not that lucky.
Please give your opinion

Cosmocat Member Posts: 60 ■■□□□□□□□□THANKS...and when you put it that way it's a shame not to take it since it will be pretty easy with the 70-284 stuff covered. I try 70-285 early august close after 70-284.
