Does this look like a good idea for people who want to major in Network Security?
I just want to hear what you guys/girls think about it.

Planning on joining the U.S. Air Force just to study network security?
Have a look at the
Air Force Cyber Command blog articles at TaoSecurity
for some idea of what they do.

Yeah, I live pretty close to Barksdale AFB which is becoming or already is their main cyber command center. We had a few people come by our school talking about it, but we had a pretty weak networking area in our school so nothing serious.
I think it'd be pretty neat, but this is the next warground and some security professionals believe the next atomic bomb style type of attack is going to come from these guys. I don't think that's something I'd wanna be involved with.
