How can i find the full story of BGP, OSPF on Doc CD ?

Dear list,
I am new on searching on the Cisco Doc CD, i need help on the following

it is easy to search the Configuration Guides and Command References on related IP Protocol topics in the Cisco Doc CD for a specific command, but where can i find the full story of BGP, OSPF on Doc CD ?

i mean i dont need to know the commands and configurations, but i just want to know how actually BGP, OSPF etc.....works, i want to read from the ABC's of BGP and OSPF...so where and how should i click it in order to located it ?

can any one tell me the steps ?
