Thank you very much everyone that helps support TechExams.net! I had to pass this certification for a new job I have and couldn't have done it with out the assistance of this site. My score was 890/900. I wish I could know which questions I missed, but oh well.
Most Appreciated,
Jake

I'm not quite sure. I asked a couple of the other technicians that I work with about the test. Apparently there are some questions that do not pertain to the material covered in the Security realm. I agree with that because I remember a question that was basically a hardware question that looked like it should have been on the A+. Also, I have also heard that the questions are weighted meaning that some are worth more than others.
However, about 20 questions into the test I thought I was going to fail it. I was very surprised by the score. I feel that I know the material very well so I guess if the questions are weighted then it would make sense. But, I really don't know. Thank you mukuljack! I had to pass this certification within 180 days of getting this new job. I was a programmer for three years prior to getting this new job. I'm very happy I made the change because the world of Security is way more exciting and cool...in my opinion.
However, to answer your question. I used CBT Nuggets, LearnKey software, read this book cover to cover, and most importantly the information provided by TechExams.net.
My only advise is take your time and learn the material very well. Good Luck! [/url]It has yet to be proven that intelligence has any survival value. - Mr. C -

I am in school right now and will be graduating next summer with a Bachelor in Network Security, right now I’m trying to get a few certs before I graduate, but I’m curious on what type of entry level security jobs are out there??--Matt
