problem with vmware (connection problem)
vincentnyc10
install windows 2003 server and xp on vmware as "use host only networking." i haven't configure any ip settings or any settings yet on both machines.
xp:
ip address : 192.168.239.129
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
default gateway: none
windows 2k3 server:
ip address: 192.168.239.128
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
default gateway none.
so here is my problem. xp can ping itself and win2k3. but on win2k3, it can only ping itself and not xp. so can any1 let me know what is my problem and how to i fix this? how can i ping xp on my windows 2k3 machine? thx in advance.
