CCNA certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, either pass the current CCNA exam, or pass the ICND2 exam, or pass any 642 professional level or Cisco Specialist exam (excluding Sales Specialist exams), or pass a current CCIE written exam. -
lnsomnia Member Posts: 50 ■■□□□□□□□□I believe what crystalym is trying to say is this:
Once you achieve your CCNA you have 3 years until this expires. Now if you were to pass an exam for the CCNP track, then it would automatically re-certify your CCNA for another 3 years on the date that you passed one of the CCNP tests.
If I'm wrong please correct me but this is what I remember.
