Wininternals 2005 ERD Commander repair disk

Guys,

Can any of you recommend a free program similar to Wininternals 2005 ERD Commander repair disk. I have lost my copy of this and it seems that it is not available for download as microsoft has brought out wininternals.

I have a failed hard disk and machine won't boot. In the past I have found the Wininternals program very useful as it creates a ram drive so that you can run repairs etc on the hard disk. If anyone knows any free hard disk recovery tools can they post the link.

You tried BartPE or UBCDfor windows?

BartPE is pretty good, but I thought MS made the wininternals tools available for free download from the MS site?

Your thinking of the old Systinternals (now wininternals) tools. The ERD cd is a 30 day eval found here :

BartPE has great flexibility. The UBCD has some great tools too.
