who cracks their knuckles?
out of curiosity, how many of you crack knuckles. There are many reasons people do it i guess, some out of stress, others is just plain bad habit.

sthomas Member Posts: 1,240 ■■■□□□□□□□Just did right before I started typing this message. It can be an annoying habit though so if you don't do it don't start. Though I am not sure if it will actually cause problems with arthritis in the future though.Working on: MCSA 2012 R2

Mishra Member Posts: 2,468 ■■■■□□□□□□I do. It's not really a 'bad habit'. Doing anything excessively is bad for you so don't do that but if you want to crack every now and then it's not really going to have much affect.

I do it fairly often out of habit throughout the rest of the day.

I STRETCH my fingers, and they happen to crack. Same thing with my back, or any part of the body when I stretch for any athletic activity.**** ARE FOR CHUMPS! Don't be a chump! Validate your material with certguard.com search engine

Slowhand Mod Posts: 5,161 ModHmm. . . crack my knuckles? That's a loaded question.
After four car accidents (none of which were my fault, thankfully), knee surgery from an injury in high school wrestling, a decade of martial arts training/tournaments, I pretty much crack every joint in my body. My spine and neck are notoriously loud, my vertebrae pop if I breathe too deep. My ankles, wrists, fingers, and toes pop when I wriggle 'em, and after pulling some ligaments in my right knee after my physical therapist decided to get experimental with my 'recovery', I can pop my knee loud enough to hear from two rooms away just by standing on my toes.
So, do I crack my knuckles? Maybe. . .

scheistermeister Member Posts: 748 ■□□□□□□□□□I love popping my joints, do it all the time. I am sure the people that are taking tests when I do don't like it though since when I pop a joint it is super loud. I usually pop my fingers, wrists, arms, neck, shoulders, back and toes. My knees just pop on their own.Give a man fire and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

I'm a freak of nature. I can crack my thumbs over and over with no end (or at least I've never reached an end). I just lost count at about 50 or so. I'm not sure if that is healthy or normal though.....An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made. -
