I ordered The Ultimate CCNA Package like 2 weeks ago from Thebryantadvantage, I had an assumption that this will come with the CCNA book, am I right about this?
I needed the book to take around me when I am not at home etc.

don't quote me on this but I believe they are only E-Books, CCNA might be different from the CCNP thoughWIP: IPS exam -

aaronchristenson Member Posts: 261 ■■■■□□□□□□It took about a 1/2 ream of paper to print and that was double sided. I printed each section and studied it until I thought I knew it really well. I scheduled the exam after 3 months and failed. I am glad that Cisco is offering the second chance. I am reading the Odom books now to fill in the blanks, I will try the free retake in the next few weeks. I would not rely on the Bryant Advantage alone.

I used multiple source of information for my CCNA (Bryant Advantage) as the last and main source, and passed the first time.
Other than Chris's material, did you use any other sources of information?
Did you have a home lab, or access to hardware to configure, and run labs?I don't claim to be an expert, but I sure would like to become one someday.

aaronchristenson Member Posts: 261 ■■■■□□□□□□I read the Odem books as well. As for labs I am using Packet Tracer 4.11, it is not the greatest but its better than nothing. I think that I was too nervous going in to the exam, this was the first Cisco exam I had taken. The biggest thing that threw me for a loop was the simulations. I am re-reading the second Odem book to fill in the blanks. In a couple of weeks after putting my nose to the grindstone, I will pass the exam. I am just glad that it will be free.

LBC90805 Member Posts: 247For the CCENT I only used ODOM's ICND1 book and Packet Tracer. Obviously it can be done. But I'm reading the Second Odom book and Lammle's cram book for the ICND2.
