So who is going to be first?

To take one of the new CCNA exams?

It looks like you can book the exams now. Anyone tempted yet?

Voice and wireless books don't even come out for another few months, but I am sure there is enough material out there already. Security is out though :D

I think Paul should go first :D

I've decided to become an exam snob -- at least for a while. If the exam costs less than $1400 (and doesn't include lunch) I can't be bothered with it icon_lol.gif

There's a few people talking about taking down the security exam pretty soon. I'll probably have my CCNA and CWNA by the time the wireless book comes out, so I'll probably take a shot at that as soon as I can review the book.

I'm thinking of doing the voice exam. Finally got back into a study routine and should knock out the ISCW after about two weeks of review. Then a few weeks to review ONT and I'll probably head down the voice track from there starting with CCNA Voice.

I know what you mean Mike :P

Part of me would love to do the security or voice, but I have enough on my plate as it is. I am also worried of getting into it and wanting to go through some of the professional exams.

    Gotta focus!

I have my 640-816 ICND2 scheduled soon, after than I plan to take time off to study the CWNA and CWSP. I figure that if I were to crack open the manuals for Cisco 800W series routers (i.e. http://cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps380/tsd_products_support_series_home.html) then I would get to know the IOS CLI & SDM for wireless. I was originally planning to complete CWNA and CWSP back to back then go CCNA: Wireless. What are your impressions?

CWNA -> CWSP -> CCNA: Wireless

    or

CWNA -> CCNA: Wireless -> CWSP

There is also Cisco supplemental material that they list that applies to CCNA: Wireless.
    CCNA: Wireless Community Prep

    Cisco 800 Series Routers

Cisco IUWNE Overview w/ White Papers

Cisco Practice Questions (Module Sets 1-5)

I don't plan to do Voice, but I am considering CISSP and CCNA: Security. After all these, time to move onto the professional track for CCNP.

I'll probably do the CCNA-Sec after I finish the ARCH exam. The ARCH is rather time consuming so it may be a while.

I have a friend who did the CCNA Security exam for the sheer fact his company will always pay for his tests.. he went in without studying and almost passed.. now he is going to use his free retake after he studies a bit.

I think CCNA voice would be cool for our WAN since we have branch offices using mitel controllers with mitel phones and cisco gateways and switches (PoE type)

I would love to learn basic VoIP..think data and VoIP convergance is a must for any Cisco Engineer...;)

My Security+ is scheduled for Aug 30 so after that, I plan on giving the CCNA:Security a shot. Hopefully give it a try sometime in Oct. May not be first but perhaps one of the first.
