Man. accidently delete partition on External drive

OMG. like an idiot while i reinstalled windows xp pro, i kept my external hdd connected to the computer. and i accidently delete the partition.

I havent formatted yet. but under device manage, i can see it as an unpartition drive.

I have installed Ative Partition Recover , but need help using it.

Does anyone have any reccomendations about recovering my partition of the external hdd, and hopefully getting my files back.. MY files on my external HDD are very important.

i need to recover the partition and files..
if anyone could help me with active partition recovery or anything else.
please i would greatly appreciate it.

Ouch - painful.

Basically you are pretty much screwed. My recommendation would be to run some data recovery software over it and see what you can restore. Hirens Boot CD has a few tools that might help.
