Confused about my career.

Hey mates,
Just needed your advice related to my career track. A short background about me.
A CCNA. worked with an infrastructure services company for 7 months as a network engineer. Role included configuring cisco routers at client locations and configuring leased lines etc..had to leave this due to poor pay.
Now working with a leading bank ( joined a couple of weeks ago ) as a network associate, monitoring and troubleshooting WAN links and almost any problem that crops up (First level support related ).
I always had interest in Information Systems auditing and security. I was wondering how to proceed with my career here on, keeping in mind my interest. I was thinking on going either with CEH or SSCP ( dont kno if i am eligible based on my domain experience ) and backing the cert with a diploma in Cyber Laws from a Government Law School. ( i work in India ).
your views regarding this appreciated.
