either get an external CD-ROM or install a new internal CD_ROM drive. I would check out newegg.com

You can check Ebay. -

Edit: Here's the link http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.phpCERTS: VCDX #110 / VCAP-DCA #500 (v5 & 4) / VCAP-DCD #10(v5 & 4) / VCP 5 & 4 / EMCISA / MCSE 2003 / MCTS: Vista / CCNA / CCENT / Security+ / Network+ / Project+ / CIW Database Design Specialist, Professional, Associate -

You'll still need a boot disk (do you have a usb floppy drive?) to be able to start the installation from disk though. After you mount the ISO with Daemon Tools, you might be able to just start the setup from the CD. I've always installed it by booting off the CD, so I can't remember if that's a valid option or not.

JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,089 AdminCheck the supported hardware for Server 2003. It may refuse to be installed on an old laptop. You have a better chance with installing Standard than Enterprise, but even if it installs it's still gonna run dog-slow.
If you have a more powerful Windows computer with at least two gigs of RAM, install VMWare Server and create a Win2K3 Server virtual machine by booting off your ISO files. No dual-boot setup is needed. Save the old, crappy laptop for playing with Linux.
