Sysvol

Maybe a stupid question, but what permissions should users have to the "sysvol" directory.

Authenticated users?
Read and Exectue?

I wouldn't mess with sysvol permissions. However I don't think users would need anything more the read/execute. This is where group policy templates are stored along with login scripts so they will at lease need what you mentioned

agreed there are also backups up the registry stored in there!
