i heard about cisco second chance does anybody can explain it to me...??

    The comeback was originally for people who had let their Certification expire -- but the web page has changed to make it sound like the secondchance now.

    Wait...

    So I just tried to register for the exam, thinking you put the code in the first time. You have to actually fail it once, then put the code in when you register again?

    Anyone know how long this is valid? Even if that's the case, I'll just register before whenever it expires. If I fail, just register again right away.

    Yes I have. I didn't pass the ICND2, used the COMEBACK promotion code during the 2nd exam registration process, and it didn't charge me at all.

    Oh and I passed the 2nd time. =)

    think there's a few of us that have used the second chance\comeback offer.....
    i know i certainly did.... took me two attempts to nail the ccna... a week apart
    if I say something that can be taken one of two ways and one of them offends, I usually mean the other one :-)

    Can the SECONDCHANCE be used multiple times? i.e. I fail SND can I use it on SND and then use it again when i fail SNRS next month??? :)

    ive not heard of anyone trying this yet but see no reason why you cant.......
    there's certainly no mention of any restrictions

    keep us updated to your progress....

    someone mentioned that it is good to use multiple times (and they had tried it already)
    each time you pay for an exam you get a free retake

    Yes you can, I have used it 3 times :P

    In a row? icon_eek.gif If that were the case, I'd be taking Cisco exams once a day just for the heck of it so that I can get over being nervous about the time clock... icon_confused.gif

    No, I used it on ONT, BSCI and ISCW. Passed the BCMSN the first go around.

    I basically used to find out what my weaknesses were and see how I would be on time management. Also having a deadline to work with really motivates me to actually sit down and study. If I don't have that deadline I procrastinate like you wouldn't believe and would probably puss it off over and over.

    I have not tried it on the same test over and over though. I have just used to on three separate tests.
