in CCNA & CCENT
I want to build a lab to study for CCNA i already got some equipment and books to start the studies.
Equipment:
2 - 2501 router
2 - 2503 router
1 - 2521 router
2 - 1912 switch
All of these are memory maxed... What else should i buy??? i read in alot of post a 2950 and maybe a 2509||2510 are really good study materias for CCNA. What should i buy... thanks

Plazma Member Posts: 503Looks like you got the routers covered, so long as they can route the IGP's discussed and hnadle frame-relay and VLAN routing.
Switch wise 2950's are by far the best for the CCNA & CCNP study route.. though with the CCNP you should add a L3 switch to your mix (3550 EMI) or so.CCIE - COMPLETED! -

IGP = Interior gateway protocol = rip, rip2, eigrp, ospf is all you need for ccnp exam -

1 - 2950 switch
Im going to be taking the CCNA test in about 2/3 weeks do i need anything else???? thanks all of you... -

If its in 2-3 weeks then no. There isn't anything else you need. If you really want to buy something then get another 2950 switch since the 1912 switches you have aren't any use for any of the current certifications.
Check the FAQ sticky at the top of the forum. There are lots of posts about what hardware you need and what would be nice to have.
