hi,
I am going to go for my CCNA, i have compiled the following equipment. Is this a good start?
1 3640 router maxed 128/64 (IPV6/SDM)
2 2520 routers maxed 16/16
1 2924 switch
1 1924 switch
1 2650 router (on the way, it is maxed also)
2 2950 switches (on the way)


how far can I go with this? suggestions?
My Lab equip:
5 3640 routers
2 2621XM router
2 2611XM router
1 2651XM router
4 2950 switches
4 3550 switches w/emi
2 1811 isr router
2 asa5505

    Should be good enough for the CCNA. Dont think the 1924 switch would be much use though, but with the 2 x 2950's and the routers, you should be set.

    I'd say you're in good shape. For CCNA, you've definitely got enough equipment to learn everything you need to learn. It's not going to be until you do something like CCNP you might need any more (or different) equipment. Good luck with your studies.

    is this equipment good enough for the ccna 640-802 exam. I tried to have everything maxed out, so i could have the best lab possible for the exam. i have read that the exam is getting into SDM and IPV6.

    you should be set to go for the ccna and some of the lab you could prob use for NP but some of your routers i.e. 2520 wont have enough memory for IOS's required for ccnp level.
