If anyone can answer this, i'd really appreciate it. After i failed the 270 exam, i received an email from MS with an id # for scheduling future tests. Do i use the MS # or my Prometric candidate # to schedule a retake of the exam? Thanks in advance for an answer on this since i am confused.

They're just your unique ID with each company. Prometric allows you to enter your MS ID, so everyone can keep track of all your information. -

Just login with your email/password. That's already associated with your Prometric ID. There will be a box for you to enter your MS ID when you register for an exam. It saves it after you've entered it.
