The best of luck to you TechJunky!!

I can't offer any advice at the moment (because I haven't done it) but yeah, maybe pump out some practice exams from Transcender?

I'm thinking of doing the same thing. I've been studying 291 for about 2 weeks now, but I did have a college course devoted to 291 (even taught from the MSPress Book). I'm on sort of a time crunch to get my MCSA done, and only have this and Security+ to go. Let us know how it goes.

    Passed!

Man, this test was the most straight forward test I have ever taken from Microsoft.

Finally a test that wants to know if you can understand the technology and not the word sluething.

I do admit that I was very stressed last night considering I really didn't study like I would have liked.

    Passed with an 852.

Used Sybex as a reference and studied subnetting... That was about it for material. The rest was hands on experience at work and a little dhcp stuff like creating relays etc on a personal VM box..

    Congratulations on the pass!!

Were most of your questions on DNS and DHCP, or did they give you mostly "others"?

They pretty much stuck to the testing areas microsoft said they would test.

DHCP, DNS and RRAS. None of the DNS questions were anywhere near as hard as I thought they should have been.

Again, this test was really straight forward. I was done in under 45 minutes. So if you know your material you should do fine.

Thanks again everyone, I had a fun night last night celebrating.

Very nice! Congrats on the good score.

I'm doing my "practice" run Wednesday of next week. I had it scheduled previously to microsoft releasing the 2nd shot voucher and then i cancelled and rescheduled using the voucher =)

Anyways, enjoy the time off of studing while your brain unwinds and we'll see you back on the boards soon for your next one!

Bit late on this but congrats anyway! That's a great score.

Got this one on 1st Sep, looks like a few folk are passing this one at the moment with good/great scores which helps with my confidence.
