Adjustable dumbells

I know bowflex sells these for really expensive, but there have been a lot of knock offs of those "adjustable weight " dumbells. Has anyone used these in their workout routine? I was considering getting some that way I can move up weight slightly instead of buying seperate dumbells or bars + weights.

You could save yourself a lot of money by just getting individual plates and using collars. That method is less convenient. I really wouldn't go with any "knock-offs" for strength training myself.

I remember I tried out a set of adjustable dumbells on display, thing collapsed in front of me lol.

Knock off adjustable dumbells are a really bad idea, the bowflex ones are overpriced but they are the only onces that are made well.

Powerblocks are the way to go.

I got the bowflex ones. Just save up and spend the dough its well worth it to buy only 1 time. I've also heard good things about powerblocks also. Just investigate several options and choose, but you can't go wrong with the two mentioned.
