rename mailbox in exchange 2003

I need to rename a mailbox in Exchange 2003. I have changed the login and all the names for the account in ADUC, but the mail box still has the old name. I have tried googleing it but I can not fine the answer.

If you changed the alias under the Exchange General Tab in your users and computers that should do it.

I changed and the user name as well. I see that alias is the name of the mailbox itself now. Thats good information to know.

Which name are you referring to that's not changed? SMTP address?

If you're referring to the Oulook Client not displaying the new name, you can either re-create the profile or go into the mail control panel and in the Exchange account, you can check the name which will fix Outlook. The latter is much easier for obvious reasons but both will fix the Outlook client.
