in CCNA & CCENT
I am putting together a lab for my CCNA studies and my workplace has some old Cisco equipment they do not need anymore, one of the pieces is a 5505 switch but does not have any of the modules with it. Would this switch be of any use for the CCNA assuming I could get some modules for it?

As for usage with your CCNA, its not that useful since it doesn't run IOS. You could use it as part of your CCNA lab but not as any of the main switches and you'll have to learn some CatOS commands to use it. You'll also need to buy some modules for it which will probably come out to be more than what a Catalyst 2950 which would be useful would cost...
What else is floating around at work? -
