i would like to use my laptop to connect to my router. problem is, my laptop is media center pc and only has a vga hd 15pin connector. would i be able to use a usb/rj45 connector to connect to the console port of the router? right now i am stuck using my pc, but would like to move the equipment around. it's a lot easier to move a laptop than a desktop. thanks

and a Cisco Console cable (if you don't already have one):
