Windows Mail Question
gonzoflick
So I've been reading the MS Press books and watching CBT Nuggets preparing for the 70-620 which I take Monday. The books and the videos keep mentioning that Windows Mail is not capable of receiving mail from an HTTP source (like outlook express was). However when I try and add a new mail account to windows mail on the Set Up Email Servers window I DO get the option (in the incoming email server types dropdown) for HTTP. What gives? On the exam should I select HTTP as NOT being an option for windows mail even though I see it plainly in front of me? I am running windows Vista Ultimate on a VM.
Thanks in advance

Hi Gonzo,
Windows Mail does not support HTTP. You can select the option, but it will just display a message saying it is no longer supported. I'm going to assume they left it in to let former OE users know that is no longer a capability. Either that, or they were going to put it in but scrapped the idea.
