70-290 exam Books ?

in Server 70-290
Hi , i am studying for the 290 test and i'm doing the E-learning from Microsoft and the "Managing a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment
Course 2274" . that book dosent cover many things like backup , wsus. i was wondering if it's enough to study the 2274 and the MS press book ?does the MS press book cover all the things that i can exspect on the exam ?

    I only used the MS Press Book and I didn't see anything on the test that wasn't covered in it.

    I would use kaplan selftest or transcender for test prep too if you can.CBT nuggets wouldn't hurt either

    The MSpress book is a really good resource. I would make sure and do a lot of Labs for this exam. All the topics are pretty important to lab so you are familiar with them.

    I thought the MS Press book was very good for this one too....

    I'm using the Syngress book, CBT Nuggets, and info from the forum for 290. The MS Press books are so dry to me, I do realize it is a book for a computer certification. I have MS Press for 291 and I think I'd rather punch myself in the face than read it.

    Anyway the MS Press 290 book second edition is perfect for studying for the exam BUT you need to do the labs in order to understand what needs to happen and how/when/where/why something must happen.

    If you can get your hands on a copy of the CBT Nuggets for the 290 this guy 18.jpg will explain things to you in a different way that may be easier for you to understand.

    Then last you might want to practice on practice tests from transcenders or other sources.

    I passed last month with 94% below is what I used and the order that I did my study.

    70-290 CBT nuggett watched all the videos without pausing to familarise myself with the topics

    70-290 MS training kit book read all the way through

    70-290 CBT Nugget watched all the way through somtimes rewinding to go over topics that I needed extra revison or was stuggling with

    Transcender practice exams

    70-290 MS training kit book covered weak topics shown in the practice exams

    More Transcender Practice exams so I was passing with at least 95%

    Also when I was reading the books I was using my home lab to practice what I have learned.
