in CCNP
I passed my BSCI this morning with a 877. I'm battle scared, battered, and bruised. I will take the weekend to heal and go grab me a lobster dinner with some hotties that I know.

I will say this.. everything on the exam blue print.. make sure you know it.. in DETAIL.. if you feel like you have mastered it.. lab up everything you know and read more on it.. there is ALWAYS something new to learn.. especially with BGP.

For prep I used the following:

- CBT Nuggets

- Home made labs that were WAY harder than needed

- Cisco Press Exam Cert Guide

- Notes & "****" Sheets from www.packetlife.net

- Cisco Press BSCI Self-Study guide & Cisco Press BSCI Exam Cert guide (though I wasn't fond of how the exam cert guide was worded or ordered).

- Dynamips


Big thanks to Paul Boz for keeping my spirits high and keeping me motivated. I think I will hit the BCMSN studies early next week.

    i got 2 down, 2 to go. i scheduled the ONT exam for september 2nd. then i will only have 1 left!! i'm trying to impress my brother, who got his ccnp in 4 months. now he let it expire, so i am trying to motivate/push him to get certified again.

    I know exactly how you feel. I took the previous version and when I submitted the exam, I was absolutely convinced I failed it. Turned out I passed by 70ish points. It was, without a doubt, the hardest exam I had taken (and still is). It was bad enough that I didn't want to even *look* at anymore CCNP material for about two years. Of course by that time, they changed the damned exams on me. Looking at the changes between the previous version and the current just makes my blood run cold, because it looks like they made it even harder. The fact that I may have to retake it gives me a sick feeling in my stomach.

    With that being said.... you're probably in the clear. In terms of difficulty, BCMSN and ISCW don't even compare to the previous BSCI. Just do not do what I did and take a significant amount of time off hehe
