Passed CCENT on Friday.
Pass score: 804, my score: 805. Phew! but a pass is a pass hey! Know I need to study harder for ICND 2 but bring it on...

For study material I used CBTNuggets and am lucky enough to work as a Network Admin for a IT consultancy so we have a lab with a couple of spare Cisco routers and switches which I practiced on. I would watch the vids, take notes as I find writing it down is a much better way to get it to stick in my brain than just watching, then I’d config the routers/switches as was done in vids.
I also purchased the Wendell Odom book but I am hopeless at reading these books straight but I found it good to reference when I used the practice questions cd that comes with it.
My advice to anyone taking CCENT is def CBT series along with the Odom book and a lab of course if you can your hands on the kit. Also checkout the Cisco learning site with all the practice questions on there. They are the closest to the actual exam questions and really get your mind into that way of thinking… -
