Quick WSUS question

Let's say you have already have a WSUS server and are installing another WSUS server and when settings options on the 2nd server, you have the option Select which server to sync content from. Do you give the URL there or just the FQDN of the 1st server. An answer to a question in Transcender says you should give the URL, but could give the FQDN as well
I thought it had to be the URL.
Also, in the Specify the name your clients use to locate this update server field, you enter in the FQDN, right?
Someone please clarify.
P.S. And o boy, the questions on IPSec in Transcender sure are tough
. There are no easy ones at all. It wasnt as difficult on DNS and DHCP, infact the DHCP ones were a piece of cake compared with the IPSec ones. I really hope the actual test isnt going to be this tough.

Yeah it's that sim, pretty simple by the way. So you guys reckon that either the URL or the FQDN can be used, but the URL is best practice. So if a similar question appeared on the test, the "microsoft" answer would be URL. Right?

Sorry to jump in, but I just want to make sure I still remember WSUS, it's been a while, hehe.

1. http://servername
2. http://servername.domain.com
3. http://updates.domain.com (add A record for updates to point to WSUS server)
You can also do any of the above using https if you apply a certificate to your WSUS server and choose to secure your wsus directory using SSL.
