Expect - Automation

Hello Everybody,

The company I work for is moving toward network automation. However, my programmer skills are limited. Some scripts are writing in Pearl. Someone told me learn expect and then Python. Can someone give me a break down on the different languages. I looking to write network automation scripts.

Expect is an interpreter to automatize interaction between users and the shell ... python and perl well check this.
