Did you back up your cluster via system state backup?

    Here's a backup/restore for clustering:

FAT cluster. Not server cluster :)

    New HD.

If you haven't lost any data yet then copy everything to a new hard drive before more clusters fail. If you have lost data (and that is why you are asking to repair clusters) then you'll need a data recovery program like spinrite.

Correct this is a system with xp on it. Everything important was pulled of the systems. Re did the partition and reloaded xp on it. I am getting CRC errors and was wondering how i can either get rid of them or how to mark it bad?

I understand the hard drive is failing and most likely has to get replaced was just wondering if there was anything free on the market that might solve the errors.

Format it a few times and see if the drive controller will remap the sectors. It will only do it on a write though.

Ahh!!! Not GRC (sorry I have a personal dislike for Steve)
As for the people that swear by SpinRite, there are lots of people that
believe in astrology, but that doesn't make it any more valid.

That's it? An eight year old email by some guy I can't find on Wikipedia or Google? The way you carry on, I thought you had something more substantial than that.

Not sure how that negates all the independent reviews and user testimonials...

I grabbed that from a link off Wikipedia. I can't be bothered to find more, but I've been following Mr. Gibson's "work" for over 10 years and the man is the king of "pseudo-science marketing fluff".

Anyway, sorry for hijacking the thread.
