I have worked with Pix's and ASA' before but really want to get into learning more about the ASA's. I was looking through the CCSP exams that cover this and have found the 642-523 and what i think is the newer 642-524. My problem is i cant find any books about either of these exams or any material in general. can someone point me in the right direction here?

You could go for the non-exam specific books. "The Cisco ASA and PIX Firewall Handbook" http://www.amazon.com/Cisco-Firewall-Handbook-Networking-Technology/dp/1587054574/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1220409351&sr=1-2 and the "Cisco ASA: All in one Firewall, IPS and VPN Adaptive Security Appliance" http://www.amazon.com/Cisco-ASA-All-One-Networking/dp/1587052091/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1220409351&sr=1-1 are both excellent. They will cover more than you need for the exam though, but this is not really a bad thing.

THanks for the links. Somehow in all my searching on Amazon I didnt turn these up.
