Been studying 270 for a while, recently created 2 VM's (2003 and xp) so been getting more experience
Are there any practicles or exercises anyone can recommend? anything is much appreciated.

Do you have the MS Press book? They have exercises at the end of each section. You can also browse around on MS Technet; they have a lot of labs on there as well.
